  1. Very good game by the cards. Really look like MAYBE they are shoring up their defense, playing better sound fundamental defense and not taking so many risks. On offense it looks like they are FINALLY trying to go through the post more. We shall see if this continues
  2. QB; secondary. D line?
  3. Pathetic. Will we EVER hire a good basketball coach again?
  4. And I can’t stand this drive to the basket stuff. That’s not an offense/real basketball. That’s the junk they do in the nba. Not creative enough to design plays so just drive to the basket and pray you get a foul call. I hate that garbage.
  5. They don’t have a leader. Probably due to all of the switching of players in and out. The offensive scheme was a little better at times. Our execution was horrible. With our talent we should be 3-1 right now. On the bright side, at least we didn’t do the stupid pressing the whole game and we actually fed the ball into the post a couple of times. I think we need to try to run the offense through the post on virtually every possession. If we played Bulajic and Hamilton at the same time it would create matchup problems. Or even One of them and Errol White (White can score in the post). our defense was marginally better but still giving up WAY too many wide open 3’s. Anyway, FEED THE POST!!!!
  6. At the end of the first half we had 1 assist and 16 turnovers. Let that sink in for a minute….lol. How freaking HORRIBLE is that??!!
  7. Another stellar coaching performance by Dr Brooks….
  8. (And I said they aren’t 30 points better…I didn’t say they weren’t better)
  9. Apparently we watched 2 different games. They had one guy who was noticeably bigger, but other than that…and he wasn’t very skilled offensively. We were 6’ 10, 6’ 10, 6’6, 6’3, and 6’0. Granted, Holifield is very skinny but he’s clearly got talent. And at times we replaced the 6’3” with a 6’5” or 6’6”. And, for the most part, these aren’t slow/slug footed players we were putting in. Our scheme vs A&M was like trying to force a square peg into a round hole. You leave our players wide open like we left theirs, we would have been the ones making a bunch of 3’s. We do NOT play sound defense. Too much trapping, too much pressing gets players out of position to be able to play decent defense.
  10. We threw it a whopping 3 times more than we ran it. They were keying on the run yet we still tried to run it 29 times…averaging a whopping 2.5 yards a carry! And our running plays are so predictable. Frustrating. (Our defense stunk too…602 yards allowed??!!?? Uggggghhhh).
  11. A&M is good but they aren’t 30 points better than us based on athletes - eye test. But their coaching is certainly 30+ points better than us.
  12. Just awful coaching again. Full court pressing against a team with better players/athletes than you is pure stupidity. And once again, constantly leaving them with wide open 3 pointers. Then there’s our no scheme offense. Just terrible. Do we have ANY clue how to feed the ball into the post?? Do we EVER set off the ball screens to try to free players up? Did we run any plays to get someone open for a jumper other than a semi pick and roll type play (that we do EVERY DAMN TIME)???!!!!
