Lamar gets another road win to climb to 5-3 in the conference 78-74. Lamar made their free throws down the stretch to get the win. Ironically Pennebaker who is one of the poorer free throw shooters made two critical ones and with the chance to give Lamar a six-point lead with under a minute left Holifield, one of the better free throw shooters misses two, but Lamar played good defense the last few minutes of the game. Lamar will return to action Saturday at home. -
At the final media time out the game is tied at 64 and Hamilton will be shooting a free throw for the front end of a one and one.

Lamar down by two points at the half 37-35. Turnovers and key foul issues the big difference in the score. Cards have six first half turnovers and eleven fouls with nine of the eleven on the big men. Hamilton and Holifield only played eight and seven minutes respectively because of the fouls.
