LU Cardinal
I think Dausin comes in, wins the starting QB job and has a solid season.
Cplatt
I agree, its Dausin in my book. I think by the time conference starts he will be the starter. Somebody still needs to step up in the backfield. Up to this point we have never had a running threat. Need a 1000 yrd All Purpose guy, just don't see that on the current roster beside the Freshman guy from Houston. BigNasty92
I hope the "surprise player" is the entire o-line.

coachacola
I hope the "surprise player" is the entire o-line. Last year they had to overcome the loss of Anthony Oden, Daniel Campbell and Emone Bailey, all 290+ lb linemen who were expected back. This year they have a lot of experienced linemen coming back and they've added weight and strength. They better be much improved.

I disagree. If our O-line isn't bigger, stronger, faster, and more depth...we are up sh!t creek and will be on the same boat as last year. I also think we need another receiver to compliment KJ. BigRed2010
Our offensive line has held us back ever since we have restarted the football program. If I'm a coach, this is the very first place that I start my program from. All the great quarterbacks and running backs and wide receivers can't anything without the guys up front. To me, it is the most important aspect of a football team. If you can run and pass block it will take the pressure off the rest of the team. It will help the defense and special teams tremendously. They can only do so much if the offense cannot move the ball consistently. So, I hope the O-line is the surprise for us. We can win more games than we lose, if they have improved. We need them to be the best aspect of our team. Till that happens, we will be just like we have been since the restart. From a bad to average football team........... dirtybird
I know the O line has spent most of the summer lifting weights and training, on their on. They have gotten stronger and bigger. Also they have some depth, just hope they all stay healthy. They are the key to Lamar's success.
Guest papabear
37 fumbles (19 lost). O-Line and QB's need to be better, but it won't matter if we can't take care of the ball. Turnovers hurt this team as much as anything else last year.
Guest NorthoftheBorder
From the early reports from fall practice, Kade Harrington may be a big surprise!!!
