I thought we played well too, really like the up tempo. My favorite play of the game was KJ's second TD catch, great one hand grab.

No huddle the whole game....excellent. Short passes, long passes, runs, used the tight end, o line looked good. All in all I was extremely pleased. The west orange transfer appears to be very fast, maybe will giveu s a legitimate deep threat? And you HAVE to love Harrington! I dont care if he is 4' 9" or not, htat boy can play!!!

LOL, That little 4'9" boy, plowed over one of their linebackers, He looked like a little bulldozer.

+1 That was a highlight film catch.

 

I liked Caleb Berry's long run up the middle also. On the defensive side, there were some good interceptions. There were also some good hits that I could hear up on row 37.

 

There were a lot of other things I liked...just don't want to make a longer "laundrey list".

The Starting QB didn't play past the half and they threw about 5 passes the entire 2nd half. Most the 2nd was 3rd string RB running up te middle but by all means keep your ignorance flowing. BTW didn't SHSU put 74 up on Houston Baptist?

SHSU ran dives for a majority of the game. LU left their starting QB in to throw 6 TD's. Huge difference. I guess you have to pad the stats while you can.

 

At least your attendance numbers seem to be realistic this year.

Yeah with our 5th & 6th string running backs. You threw the ball 32 times against a JV team. Pathetic.

HBU has one recruiting class and a lot of walkons. They may not beat OPSU. It would be a good game. That said if SHSU only ran dive plays and mostly played their 12th string as you assert, it shows that Fritz has class. The same cannot be said of you as "Class" and "Nickels" are two words that are mutually exclusive!!!

You're completely incorrect. Berry is the starter and mossakowski is the backup. Mossakowski came in with the entire 2nd and 3rd team an threw 5 total passes. The 2nd half took about an hour to complete due to all the runs up the middle with our 3rd and 4th backs.

Lamar was up 28-0 with 3 mins left in the first running an offense that is geared to throw most of the time. Many swings passes and quick hitch type stuff. I don't know why I'm wasting my time with someone who clearly always has an agenda.

... Wait a minute. Facts get in the way of a good story. Bell was still in and throwing the ball with 11:26 left in the 4th quarter in order to get the score to 47-7. Bell had 7 passes in that one drive.

Hey Nickels, I'm looking at the SHSU-HBU box score. At the beginning of the 3rd quarter SHSU's backup was also throwing passes, just like LU's backup. How is that different than what LU did?

 

I guess the difference is that LU's backup QB threw a pass for a touchdown while SHSU's backup fumbled the ball away. I guess that's one way to not run up the score. :)

Im watching louisville and ohio right now. Its 42-0 and louisville still has starting O on the field and just threw a pass. The assertion made by nickels that a team should not pass if they are up by 28 is ridiculous. This is not peewee football
