C'mon man!! My predictions are just that, predictions. It does not reflect how I want the game result to be. I want Lamar to be successful in every aspect, but I am realistic. I would rather play Tulane or Rice or S. Alabama, etc. at this stage in our development. Big 12, SEC thrashings do nothing for us as a team. Ok State coach is unlikely to call off the dogs. He never has. I luv my Cardinals but Ok State 63 - LU 7. I cant wait for this weekend to be over to get Ok State behind us and Benedict Arnold Sumlin and johnny mangina off ESPN. If Lamar plays them hard for a half, it may be worse as they are a really good third quarter team when they have to be. A substantial lead at halftime could lead to another UTSA type of game, although Lamar won't have the home field crowd to motivate them. The OSU offence will be very hard to stop. Nicholls, SFA and SHSU have already played this type of money game this year without suffering any major injuries. I don't think money games are worse than any other game when it comes to injuries. I'm with you that I hope we're able to get some good experience and collect the paycheck without any injuries. I am also hoping that I am overly pessimistic about the final score, though. I definitely was with LU vs Louisiana Tech. Bad news about A&M and tv... With as many SEC games scheduled to be broadcast this year, they'll probably be on a lot more. (77 SEC games are scheduled on various networks this year including at least one more for A&M after this weekend - A&M vs SMU on ESPN2/ESPNU). There is nothing wrong with us playing these type of games. I think it is great if we can get 1 of them a year. It does more for the program than playing Bacone. As for getting hurt, it isn't like we are sending a bunch of 3rd graders out for slaughter. We have some big ole boys....some that even came from Ok State. Anyway, I'll go with Ok State 48, LU 13.
