Northwestern got lucky and beat Cen Ark last week and lost to Nichols.

Lamar hasn't won a conference road game since beating Nicholls in 2011. This is their last chance this year. Massey has NW State favored by 4, but I say Lamar wins 31-24.

Having played both, I think Lamar has the better team on both sides of the ball. That said, game is in Natchitoches where Demons are tough to beat.

 

My guess is the score will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 27-24, 31-28 ... flip a coin as to the winner. Could go either way.

I think we are more talented than them but bone head plays and moronic decisions will be the factor. I say we jump out early but fall late 31-17 NSU.

In another thread there was a post that said Lamar doesn't deserve to be ranked about of Northwestern State because they beat Central Arkansas. Another week another doubter! CA lost to Nicholls who we beat--convincingly. I know we're on the road and I know we haven't won a conference game since 2011. Blah, blah, blah. This is a different team and I believe it's Lamar's time to shine. LU 31 NSU 18.
