BSFwins
Will not happen IMHO. They aren't in the target area for the B12. Ohio???
coachacola
Since West Virginia is in the B12 why not Cincy? Maybe they'll try to get UofL too since they are right there and that would make for 12 schools.
LUSportsFan
Makes sense to me. West Virginia is on an island now. I'm pretty sure they are not happy about that. Cincy and / or Louisville would at least put another university closer to WVU. I think either program would be a good addition. It seems like it is becoming the norm for conferences to be spread out, particularly in the AQ conferences. Regional conferences are a dieing breed. jdcurran235
If conferences cared about being regional, LU would already be in the Sunbelt

BSFwins
Lets see what happens...Louisville makes more sense to me!
geezer
I think conference expansions and realignments have more to do with opening up new recruiting areas and television markets (money) than it does with anything else. I think the SEC wanted more exposure to Texas recruiting and they got it with A&M. Does the Big 12 want more exposure to the upper mid-west? Would Central Florida make more sense? With the new BCS playoff format, college football is a more national game than ever.
austin badbyrd
As long as Texas has a say, it won't happen. Texas will go to the PAC-12 before that happens.
jdcurran235
Expansion talk is really quite this year. Things seem to have really calm down. Kinda miss the expansion talks!!
coachacola
Expansion talk is really quite this year. Things seem to have really calm down. Kinda miss the expansion talks!! I did read that Benson and the Sun Belt will invite an eastern school this spring, presumably JMU or Liberty for a travel partner for Appy State. Green Menace
Cincy to the B12? Nah. Cincy is not that big of a deal. Yes, they have had some success in football, but their thing is basketball. Plus, Nippert Stadium only seats 35,000. Much too small for the B12.
