NorthoftheBorder Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 Thinking about Bradley leaving and the DC coaching change, with spring practice starting Monday and Bradley running the defense for the spring, I wonder how this will work with a new DC starting after spring and really only getting the fall to get familiar with the personnel and putting "his" stamp on the defense. Seems like it would be better if the new DC was working the spring practice. Wonder why they are not waiting until after they name a new DC to start spring practice? WBCP2 Posted February 9, 2014 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Lamar will continue to run the 3-4 with same/similar schemes. The new DC will be promoted within the present staff so there is no need to delay spring practices. Bradley will stay through the spring to help the new DC transition. WBCP2 Posted February 13, 2014 Share Posted February 13, 2014 Hicks is still on board and has been working with the LB's for at least a year now. Hicks is an outstanding coach. LU has all the coaches they need. Right now they are making the transition and adjustments. No need to sweat.
