Sounds like JMU and MoSt are out. Liberty is not real popular. Lots of chatter about EKU. Sound like they want to do something by June 1st. Have no idea what that will be though.

Essentially there are three options on the table for the Sun Belt Presidents:

 

1. Add UMass Football/NMSU Olympic Sports

 

2. Add Liberty All Sports

 

3. Do nothing and wait another year to see what shakes out

 

Word on the street is that as of today, there are not enough votes to make either of the top two happen. So #3 is the leader as we turn the corner to come down the home stretch. My alma mater is clearly putting on a full court press to convince the presidents that we are value add right now. We should know the results in three weeks or so.
