Soccer: Bos, albeno named preseason all-conference

Senior midfielder Kristin Bos and senior forward Kimmy Albeno represent Lamar University on the Southland Conference’s 2014 preseason all-conference team, the SLC announced today.

 

Bos, who comes from Valencia, Calif., is Lamar’s all-time leader in shots (181) and shots on goal (99). She is second all-time in points (50), goals (19) and assists (12). Last season, she led the team in shots (55), shots on goal (26) and tied for the team lead with three assists.

 

Albeno, who came to Lamar from Valencia, Calif., is Lamar’s all-time leader in points (58), goals (25) and game-winning goals (8). Her eight assists are fourth on Lamar’s all-time list. Last season, Albeno had team-high totals of eight goals, three game-winning goals and 18 points.
