Big T Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Georgia State is up 14-3 12:00 into the second quarter. Sims has not been able to get anything going on the ACU offense and I can't say that I am disappointed about that. Quote
Big T Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 21-16 GSU at the half. ACU sure knows how to cause turnovers. Quote
Big T Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 23-21 ACU. I would normally be cheering for the Southland team, but I just can't bring myself to cheer for a team with Mr. Sims on it. It is looking right now as if the Southland is fixing to put their first notch on their belt this season. ACU is playing lights out. That defensive line is stout! Quote

From what I've read, ACU has a very solid D-Line but their offense is a work in progress, while Georgia State is just an all-around bad team. Quote
Mike Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I'm pulling for ACU Herschel or not. They're looking good to this point. It would be a good win for the conference. #SLC Quote
Big T Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 30-21 ACU. GSU was 0-12 last season but they are improved this season. Quote
Big T Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 30-28 ACU still in the lead. 12:00 minutes to go in the fourth. Quote
Mike Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Lamar passing game gonna eat up this ACU Secondary. Quote
Mike Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 ACU defense imploding. This is going down to the wire, a fun game to watch. Quote
Mark Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Lamar passing game gonna eat up this ACU Secondary. Thinking the same thing Quote
Mike Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 What a disaster of a defense on that last drive. ACU had this game in hand and allowed a 4th and 19 conversion on the eventual game winning drive. GSU went 60+ yards with no timeouts as well. It was pitiful. 16 game losing streak by GSU snapped. GSU wins 38-37 Quote
Big T Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 WOOOOOOWWWWWW What a game! 38-37 GSU! Quote
LU17 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I also agree. Our offense should play well against ACU. Although, ACU looked better than I thought would. They have some playmakers on offense. Quote
