coachacola Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Lamar University is developing additional graduate-level degrees for online instruction as similar programs continue driving enrollment to record levels, an administrator said. Although head-count numbers will not be certified until the 20th class day, Senior Associate Provost Kevin Smith estimated 14,500 students will sign up for Lamar instruction this semester, which would be a record. Close to one-fourth of that enrollment could be students signed up for the university's online education program, Smith said. Lamar over the web offers master's degrees in 10 education fields, with each specific subject lasting about 18 months and costing less than $9,000 regardless of a student's residency, according to promotional information. http://www.beaumontenterprise.com/news/article/LU-expects-record-tally-of-students-5722422.php?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter#photo-6791666 Quote
