Just an FYI...our school is Southeastern Louisiana. Otherwise, I look forward to making my first trip into Beaumont this weekend. Any recommendations on a good BBQ dive?

 

There's a few, boomtown, patillos, Tonys, broussards....although, none are near the university....I don't like BBQ enuf to recommend any of em though...I always heard broussards was good, never been there and don't know if they have indoor seating or just take out

i may try to get by there and give ya a review, cuz in my opinion, the others are nothing to write home about

awfully quiet up in here....LU fans only talk about games they "think" they can win....while Cards fall to 1-2 in SLC play....across the way the Kats upset the pokes at home (to keep the SLC home win streak going) to go 2-0 in SLC play....

And you're still an adult with a keyboard trolling a fan forum...sad. I find it baffling that the Sam fans always think we're insane for not assuming Lamar will lose the games in which we're underdogs. It's not as though we're parading around saying that Lamar is the best team in the FCS. We just want our university's teams to grow and succeed the same as any other fan base. So when you see comments from us about possibly beating Sam, assume it's because no fan base likes to chalk any game up as a loss for their team. Run along and play with your Kat friends. Your bullshit is not needed here.

lol - nah, I think I'll stick around - there's more LU bashing on this site than the Kats site....

 

Could at least have "some" discussion as to what is thought to be the key to an upset....or is there ZERO hope of that at LLLLLLLLLL-U

Drive down to Groves and eat at Clayboys. That is the best BBQ in the area. It's on the corner of Main and Monroe. 20 minutes from Beaumont.
