Lamar forms alliance with Microsoft

Lamar University of Beaumont, Texas have formed an alliance with British company The Tablet Academy and Microsoft in order to boost teachers’ technology literacy worldwide. The partnership, launched by edu-innovators The Tablet Academy at The Bett Show in London last week, will provide the means for educators to gain a postgraduate certificate or a graduate degree in digital learning and leading. Each party is keen to provide teachers with the latest and greatest skills and competencies needed to teach (and teach with) the latest in technological innovations.
