Big T Posted February 10, 2015 Share Posted February 10, 2015 The two surprises out of the SLC this year are going to be UNO and Lamar. Lamar I fully believe will finish top three if they can find just a little bit of offense. UNO will be much improved. They have the best SS in the SLC going into the season and he is just a sophomore. In fact, many of the UNO players are underclassmen who received a baptism in fire last season and are returning with experience this season. Not saying that UNO is going to have a winning record after going 11-38 overall and 2-28 in conference, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them add 10 to 15 games in the win column. I also think that the biggest disappointment is going to be SHSU. They have a new coach and a mostly new starting pitching staff after losing both Simms and Eppler.
