The Lady Cardinals are entering the game with a 15-12 record overall and are currently in 2nd place in the Southland Conference with a 12-4 record after falling to the McNeese State Cowgirls on Thursday. Going into today's game, the team is 1 1/2 games behind the first place Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks and are 1 1/2 games ahead of the Nicholls Colonels women's team. The UIW Cardinals women's team is entering the game with a 5-21 record overall and is currently in last place in the Southland Conference with a 2-13 record.
