Good move by the Cards Athletic Department.

Appears to be good move. However, I'm still trying to figure out how team didn't get invited to WNIT nor WBI. (UTPA & McNeese did!) Oh yeah I get it (at least in UTPA's case) Larry Tidwell is "connected" whereas neither coach H nor Jason Henderson are Unfortunate. Got to be on the right side of collegiate politics!!

Only so many teams get in and Mc Sneeze beat LU in the conference tourney if I remember.

Lamar did not lose to the Cowgirls in Katy and finished ahead of them in the regular season .The two teams each won on their home courts.The Cowgirls had played in two previous WBI tournaments getting to the championship game two years ago.Financial guarantees are also required.As far as the WNIT I don't believe our RPI was good enough and losing in the semifinals at Katy didn't help.I am pleased coach Harmony and coach Price are in the fold for three more years.
