Austin contingent is definitely different than how the conference schedule was done in the past and could be a welcome change. In part it will work to cut down longer road trips later in the season. "We were looking at some different basketball scheduling and it seems basketball schedules are always in constant discussion," Bernardi said. "For the 2016-2017 season we will look at a different format that was proposed by Stephen F. Austin and it was unique where we would use the RPI as part of the scheduling arrangement. We will use the next six months to study that with the anticipation of it being used in 2016-2017."
