Yes I agree that the passing game seems to be the current wave, but I remember when everyone was moving from the I formation or the pro set to the Wishbone and the fans all thought it was exciting. Qb position doesn't worry me...we've passed the ball with every qb we've had..as it turned out, the 4 th stringer busted all sorts of records and turned out to be one of the best in LU history. All you do is crawl out from under your rock every now and then and bitch. You add nothing constructive to this site or to Lamar athletics. For winning teams who are used to a winning tradition, 8-4 is unacceptable. Heck, if I'm not mistaken, the Cards went 8-4 last year and DID NOT make the playoffs. There has to be some sort of higher standard in order for them to be great. 5-3 in the conference is not gonna bring a conference championship home. Quote

Hopefully Langston won't poop his pants come game time as far as the play calling goes. Quote
