coachacola
Lamar University has released its 2015-16 basketball schedule announced head coachTic Price Tuesday morning. The Cardinals upcoming slate consists 16 home dates – including seven non-conference games – and is highlighted by trips to both coasts and includes dates against Fresno State, Rice and Virginia Tech. "We wanted a good balance of home and away games this year," said Price, who is entering his second season with the team. "The teams that we face this year all present a different style of play. I really think that will help us in terms of our conference schedule. Also, as we build this program, this is the type of schedule that is going to help us progress the way we need." The Cardinals open the season at home Friday, Nov. 13, against Austin College in the Montagne Center. Three days later LU opens play in the BD Global Event which will be four games over two weeks, including one in the Montagne Center. http://www.lamarcardinals.com/news/2015/9/8/MBB_0908155653.aspx
LUFAN
Well atleast we have some D1 non conference games @ home this year.. Hope we continue to build that up... I realize we will have to play Autism College and Jarvis Christian but 1 more D1 game would be awesome... we need to work on those games like Air Force and BYU again.. would love to play any of the Montana Schools. LUSportsFan
Is LU Basketball off of APR probation now? Yes. Central Arkansas is still on APR probation for men's basketball. All other SLC programs are off. Edited September 8, 2015 by LUSportsFan
