Was a good game last year, hope it is this year. Their defense is much better, played terrific against SELA. Anxious to see outcome!!

Lamar scores on their opening drive. IWU kept the ball for 10 minutes on one drive converting on 3 4th downs. The last one LU got screwed by a bad spot even with replay. IWU QB threw and INT that was taken on the LU 14 and returned to the IWU 40. Minden went deep and tossed an INT. Half way through the 2nd qtr LU leads 7-0. LU defense actually looking pretty decent.

IWU broadcaster is so lame. Earp is in the game now and he is calling him Aarp.

IWU DE jumps up on a short pass by Earp and he picked him off and took it to the house. SOB! Score at 6:35 is 7-7.

Lamar drives the ball into IWU territory and Minden throws his 2nd pick of the half caught by IWU defender at about the IWU 3. It was a terrible pass with no Cardinal anywhere close. 3 LU picks in less and 2 qtrs. Not good.

This was a good win for Lamar. They overcame the early TO's and played as a team. Kade Harrington broke a few more records this afternoon to top off the win.
