Less than 24 hours after being named to the STATS FCS All-America team, junior running back Kade Harrington has received Associated Press First-Team All-America honors.

The 2015 Southland Conference Player of the Year became the first player in conference history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season. Harrington ended the year with 2,092 yards on 266 carries, including 21 touchdowns. He also caught 14 passes for 213 yards and two scores. Not only did Harrington become the first player in Southland history to rush for at least 2,000 yards in a season, he also became just the seventh player in NCAA Division I history to rush for 2,000 yards in just 10 games – joining a list that includes Marcus Allen and Barry Sanders.
