I can't believe how bad the women's basketball team is, they just look like they don't care if they win or lose.

Game tied with 6:37 left in the half and tied up at 24. 19 fouls between the two teams to this point. Their calling it equal at least. McConathy picked up a T on the last foul call.

Lamar down by five at the half, another round of poor shot selection, turnovers and fouls although fouls are similar between the two team.

Northwestern St comes out in the 2nd half and hits 3 three pointers including one with a foul for a four point play, some poor defense by LU to build out to a 12 point lead at the first 2nd half media timeout.

LU goes on a nice run to get back to within two points at the under 12 timeout. 61-59 Northwestern St after LU was down 57-45.

Lamar continues to play well over the last four minutes and have a three point lead at the under 8 timeout. Nzeakor is playing really well this afternoon.

At the under four minute timeout Lamar is down by two 78-76.

48 seconds Lamar up by five and commits a foul. NWST makes one, gets the rebound and hits at three pointer to get with in one.

Nzeakor hits a two pointer to give the Cards a three point lead.

Six seconds left, LU up by three with Nzeakor attempting his second freethrow and makes it to give LU a four point lead.

Important win for Lamar. Lamar only commits four turnovers in the 2nd half after fourteen first half turnovers. Lamar finally has a good shooting game shooting 51% from the field. Nzeakor winds up with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Sears also has a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Garth adds 19 points

Yeah the defense was bad to start the second half but they got it together and play well down the stretch.

It's good to see freshman from Price's first real recruiting class shine.It bodes well for the future.Turnovers and defense will still be choppy for freshman but as they say the best thing about freshman is they become sophomores.

They should have a really good team next year.
