Sweet T Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) I agree, but there only five guards, (counting Zjori )unfortunately, the other four (the players causing the problems) can't all be benched. Zjori is not completely healthy and shouldn't play a lot of minutes. Edited January 27, 2016 by Sweet T Quote
Sweet T Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 They only have 5 guards if you count Zjori. Unfortunately, the four guards that are causing the problems can't all be benched. They are all equally bad when it comes to shooting terrible shots and not running the offense. Zjori is not completely healthy and shouldn't play a lot of minutes. Poor Tic Price. What to do? What to do? Quote
baller Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Zjori's shot looks different to me.It still has a nice high release but the ball is not rotating with backspin. It appears to have some side spin which might work for a bowler or golfer but isn't optimal for a shooter as talented as he was in high school.I also was told he and Owens did work out routinely in the summer. In high school he did have some knee issues and he had to occasionally limit practice time.I truly hope he can get healthy and return to greatness. His effort and spirit is there. Also you really shouldn't change your shot in the middle of a season. If it needs tweaking that's what summers are for. Sweet T Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 His muscle memory was shot, that happens when you are injured.. His shot was awful at the beginning of the season, he was cocking it, he wasn't able to elevate. It was just bad. It is starting to look much better. I don't think he has backspin. He might have shot around in the summer, but he didnt run. Is he now jumping higher? Quote
Sweet T Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 He was always hurt in high school. His current issues stem from him not caring properly for his body during those years. He should have missed a lot of games, but he wanted to play. He minimized the severity of his pain when asked, because he didnt want to miss any games.. He is now paying the price. Quote
