Doing a little Twitter research and it looks like I've come across a hit to a new addition...Andrew Allen and 6'1" 205 lbs WR/QB transfer from New Mexico State. It's an interesting pick up because he was the leading passer for NMSU last season it what appears to have been a QB carousel. He played in 7 games with 5 starts last year and passed for 1,529 yards on 115-214 with 16 TDs to 8 INTs. Played in 10 games as a freshman with 3 starts and racked up 113 yards rushing against LSU. He was listed as a WR/QB (WR listed first) on the 2015 NMSU roster and is not on thier 2016 roster. Has Lamar University in his Twitter Bio along with recently following some Lamar player & coaches. Was a 2-Star recruit by 247, Rivals & Scout and a 3 Star by ESPN. Originally from Texas City.

It's nice to get updates on roster moves. Appreciate that KABro! Have there been any practices yet? I am really interested to hear how the team looks and updates on any players who stand out or how the new 4-2-5 looks. Damn, it's almost football season!
