Lamar pick to finish 4th in SLC this season.

Lamar has been picked to finish 4th in the conference in both the coach's poll and the sports director's poll. We are behind SAM, McNeese and Central Arkansas in both polls.

Personally, I think we can do better than that. I am given some confidence because of where we are ranked that we have the talent and the team to be right in there in the discussion of who will win conference. We need consistent QB play and we need our defense to step up. If those things happen I think we can do some special things this season.
