Dracula Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 I was not familiar with Colby Carthel and googled his name. The first story is not good. Moving past that problem and looking at the history of his coaching staff, he seems to know how to build a staff and run a successful program. http://ketr.org/post/wt-football-program-probation-penalized-colby-carthel-given-one-game-suspension Quote

BigNasty92 Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Does anyone know, salary wise, how our assistant coaches salaries compare to other assistants in the SLC? Because I know ours don't make jack shit. It's great if you've got an attractive salary for a head coach but IMO, assistants are there ones that have to make it happen. Quote
Dracula Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) this might help. http://www.beaumontenterprise.com/sports/lamar/article/Lamar-increases-football-coach-staff-payroll-3546047.php this is more recent from Texas AM-Commerce. Colby Carthel and Justin Deason, his DC. https://salaries.texastribune.org/texas-am-university-commerce/departments/athletics/ Edited November 7, 2016 by Dracula Quote

For comparison sake, Woodard's current contract has him making $175,000 Quote
