Lamar is only shooting 29% and not winning the turnover battle with 7 versus 6 for Fresno St. Fresno is also out rebounding Lamar by three. Lamar is having trouble getting inside shots since they are not getting the turnovers like they did against Oregon St. Lamar was down by fourteen and cut the deficit to seven before Fresno extended the lead back to fourteen. It will be interesting to see how Lamar responds in the second half.

November 22, 20169 yr They will get better I hope you're right. I'm really liking our point guard....seems like a leader that we've been lacking for a long time. Against Oregon State I really liked how we seemed to play as a team, took care of the basketball, and defended. I'm worried about our lack of size and poor shooting.

I think outside shooting may pose a problem at times and Lamar has nice size for the Southland. I wouldn't worry about size too much in conference play, but it would help to have some mean, lean, and tough bigs to dominate the boards.
