As this young season progresses this is another important game for the men. The upset win at Oregon State raises the expectation and while this game is on the road it is a game that according to Massey Ratings, Lamar should be favored to win. It should be a tough game but if Lamar is to continue to move forward and improve its rating a win against PV and then Idaho St are high on the expectation list. Game time is 4:00 PM

At the first media timeout Lamar is out to a 12 - 2 lead.

Lamar goes through a sloppy a stretch and at the under 12 minute timeout the game is tied at 17.

At the under 8 timeout PV is up by two 25 - 23

Lamar goes on a nice run to end the half leading 49 - 42. Weisbrod has 22 points and 7 rebounds in the first half. Lamar has five turnovers to PV's 10

11:57 left in the game and Lamar is now up by eleven 64 - 53. Lamar continues to push the lead and at the under eight timeout are now up by 16 at 76 - 60.

3:59 left in the game and what was as much as 18 point lead is now down to seven as Lamar is commiting turnovers, taking bad shots and missing freethrows. Need to compose themselves and take control of this game.

12 seconds left in the game and Lamar up by six points. 89 - 83

Final LU 91 - PV 83. Lamar wins the game but there will be plenty of things for Tic to go over with the team when he critics the film. Got the win and continue on the road with the next game Tuesday at Idaho St.

This team has to improve it free throw shooting big time

Noticed the attendance for this game was a grand total of 183. Were at least half Lamar fans? Wonder if they counted the refs, coaches, & players.

Yes, most were Lamar fans. The guys wouldve won by 20 plus. The officiating was horrible. A guy pushed Noel out of bounds and they gave the ball to PV. Dorian scored and was obviously fouled. One ref called it, the other overturned it. They were jumping over Colton' s back, holding jerseys, pushing players as they were in the process of shooting. I don't know how Noel made a shot when he was pushed while he was dribbling and was forced to shoot as he was falling. I think they used SWAC officials. The disk jockey ( yes, they had a live d.j.)got on my nerves.

Good observation Sweet T .I am sure a game film breakdown of the lead ref 's calls and no calls would not break well for Lamar.For this reason,I am glad more of our games are televised.
