lu cards Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 lets get the talk started.i think this game will tell us a lot.if we can beat nwst at there place we may have a shot at being a decent team this year.if we lose its gonna be a long year. Quote
eagle eye Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 As I try to get my home back in order after Harvey I have been watching the Cards. All I can say is, fans took the opening loss at Noth Texas too much to heart. I know UT-PB is not in the same class as NT but it sure seemed like a different team last week. Funny how a full week of practice and the lack of a bus trip that got to its destination via Delaware (you know I'm exaggerating right?) makes for a team's ability to compete. We have another road trip this week to NW Louisiana for the first conference game of the season. We should be able to get a good look at what Coach Schulz' team is going to be. Lamar lost there last year and I'm looking for a little payback. I am looking forward to it although I can't make the trip. Go Cards! Quote
Dracula Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 To be honest, I don't care whether they win or lose but what I really want to see is improvement. Defining improvement is like pornography, you know it when you see it. I think that this coaching staff has them going in the right direction and we'll see what we shall see, assuming ESPN can keep the game on the air. Quote
