Injuries are playing a part in some teams lack of success.Corpus lost a stud guard and HBU's talented center has foot problems.Nortwestern State seems to have lost talented 7th year senior Jalen West for personal reasons as well as another key player at least for awhile.

Our conference is now moved up to 28.That's kind of like Jackie Moon playing for 4th place in the mega bowl.At least we have not resorted to bear wrestling to boost attendance.
