Ladies win the first game of the afternoon double header pulling away in the fourth quarter for a 25 point win 83-58. Men's game starts at 4:30. Two teams with similar records. Can the Cards put forth a full 40 minute effort?

Doesn't appear that the Cards came to play as they are down by fourteen at the under twelve timeout of the first half. Nzeakor has missed several close in shots and is four of six from the free throw line.

Cards got to the game a little late but after the slow start Nzeakor and Weisbrod got going and each have twelve points at half time with the Cards up by one on a last second put back by Bosha with the score 44-43.

Cards play a solid second half and win 86-80. McNeese picked up a total of three technical fouls off which the Cards made the free throws which ultimately set LU up for the win. Cards had one of their better free throw games making 76% on 30 of 39 attempts. Cards also won the battle of the boards. McNeese out shot the Cards from three point range but the Cards still managed the win.
