Wow geezer. A spoonful of sugar after eating a pound of crap isn't exactly going to erase the struggles the Cards faced this season. I still can't figure out why the team slid so far down this past season. Did we lose that much to graduation after 2017? Was the team just too young? I agree closing out with a series sweep feels better than getting their butts handed to them but all I can hope is things will be better in 2019 baseball Cards.
