While it was a disappointing season closing with a sweep will leave a good taste in the mouths of those who will return next year. Looks like McNeese will settle for sixth in the regular season. Wow geezer. A spoonful of sugar after eating a pound of crap isn't exactly going to erase the struggles the Cards faced this season. I still can't figure out why the team slid so far down this past season. Did we lose that much to graduation after 2017? Was the team just too young? I agree closing out with a series sweep feels better than getting their butts handed to them but all I can hope is things will be better in 2019 baseball Cards.
