Reggie Begelton Sighting

So, I was looking at the Canadian Football League website because I wanted to see what was going on with Johnny Manziel. He was signed by the Hamilton Tiger-cats about a month or so ago as he tries to resurrect his NFL career. The CFL is probably his best chance to get back on the NFL radar. He will need to be patient because he is backing up starter Jeremiah Masoli. Last week was Week 1 and Hamilton was playing the Calgary Stampeders and Calgary made a 4th quarter comeback outscoring Hamilton 19-3 to win by a score of 28-14 after trailing most of the game. Reggie Begelton had 2 catches for 60 yards in the game. It’s nice to Reggie playing ball. This means I will be watching the CFL with some interest.

Was also watching the game and could not remember which CFL team he had landed with. Was looking it up when they announced his name on TV. With the wide open style of offense played in the CFL and the premium on being able to have great hands, this game plays to his strengths. Good Luck Reggie.

Reggie and his Calgary Stampeders stomped a mud hole in their Week 2 opponent Toronto Argos by a score of 41-7. Reggie had 4 catches for 46 yards. His longest reception was 31 yards.

If anyone cares, Johnny Manziel’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats beat Edmonton 38-21. Manziel did not play as he is backing up Jeremiah Masoli who was 19/29 for 335 yards and 3 TD’s with 1 pick.
