I follow A&M recruiting as well and remember when he committed to them because he gave up a scholarship at Kent State to be a walk-on at A&M and play closer to home. I’m assuming he’s been with the team through fall camp and it was a matter of paper work to be ruled eligible that was preventing him from being listed on the roster until now.

I doubt he does anything this year. He didn't take any reps this fall and I don't even remember seeing him in uniform. Marcellus Johnson didn't get any fall reps either but was suited up.
