geezer Posted November 7, 2018 Author Posted November 7, 2018 First media timeout and Lamar up 13-0. Quote
geezer Posted November 7, 2018 Author Posted November 7, 2018 Halftime and Lamar up 44-22. First half performance by Lamar looked like it should with Lamar out manning H-T at every position. Best part for Lamar is as they substituted scoring didn't fall off like it has in years past. Quote
geezer Posted November 7, 2018 Author Posted November 7, 2018 (edited) Final score Lamr 79 - Huston-Tillotoson 59. Second half Lamar did not have the same intensity as they started the game with and H-T will go home feeling good as they played Lamar pretty evenly after the first ten minutes. Price should have plenty of places that need improvement to point out when the team goes over the film. On a side not the ladies win their opener against the Ragun Cajuns by two points in overtime. Skinny1 Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 Was not impressed with men's home opener. Free throw shooting was atrocious, defense was spotty. Positive was the bigs seemed to be able to go up to the basket without putting the ball on the floor. Too much hully-gully offense in the 2nd. Will not beat PV or TSU with this type of performance. Middle of the pack conference team. Quote
lu cards Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 ill save judgement but was very disapointed in what i saw.no flow to the offense and defense seemed confused.ill give the boys a few games to get it together and hopefully they will.congrats to the women.ive been saying for years i ought to put my focus on them vs the men. coachacola Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 A lot of transfers started and played most of the game so they should improve as the year goes on, especially since a few of them sat out last year. I was hoping to see more out of Sullivan and Foster to help out Nzeakor, although he'll probably have a real good year. We don't have to wait long to see how well they do against real competition as they play Georgia Tech on Friday. Quote
