geezer
Earlier today the video links didn't show up but when I checked right before game time the link showed up. This game against a lower division school is playing out about how you would expect. Lamar up big early in the first half and playing a lot of players. Skinny1
Hopefully basketball and football learn the lesson about scheduling lower level teams. Play some decent competition and you just might get some decent crowds.

geezer
Final score Lamar 105 - Arlington Baptist 40. Nzeakor scored 24 points in twenty one minutes of action to lead all scorers. Lamar has fourteen turnovers for the game, below the game average but still too many. Lamar wins the rebound stat by 29. Not sure this game even counts as a good practice but I'm sure the players had fun.
WildCard
Hopefully basketball and football learn the lesson about scheduling lower level teams. Play some decent competition and you just might get some decent crowds. Decent competition has no reason to come here anymore. We haven't been important for a long time and we can't put people in the stands without the teams that won't come. It's either bad home games or road trips before conference. That said, Arlington Baptist and Champion Baptist, later in the schedule, are not even real colleges. NAIA teams are huge step up from those two. Some of us will go no matter who they play. Then other people have lifes.
