A big mistake that I have seen made in other programs is when the new coach tries to force his offensive or defensive philosophy on the players he inherited instead of working with their skills for a year or two until he could recruit players that better fit what he really wanted to do. From what I have heard to date, using the strengths of the players he has is what Morgan plans to do. He has a couple of strong running backs and should have a decent o-line so if he can recruit a QB that can pass then I think he has a lot of flexibility.
