Football Roster

I just checked the football roster on the Athletic website. 60 kids total, 2 QB's. Looks like a lot of last years recruits are no longer on the roster and there has been a big flush out of kids. Anyone know what is going on?

It is not too surprising. This spring had about 50 freshman listed. Since every player comes in expecting to play, it should not be unexpected that those who did not receive playing time might leave. There are probably others who terminated their playing career because of injury or other reasons.

With only 60+- kids on the roster and a lot of OL at 250lbs or less, this upcoming inaugural WAC season will be on O-Fer. Not looking good at all for Morgan and crew!!

I do not think this is a true reflection of the roster. MBB does not have all their recruits listed on the web site. I do not think they actually add them until they are enrolled in classes.

Is there someone missing that was a starter or played significant plays last year that is not listed. Based on a review by class it looks like roughly 25 of the missing are from last years freshman class which had around 50 total.

Hammond WR. He played quite a bit. Dont blame any WR for leaving

Fex DB. He played early on, may have gotten hurt.
