Guest McneeseKilla
I don't think it is a bad thing for Lamar to be getting a few new coaches especially if they have DI or NFL experience. I like what I've read about McKnight and if all the new coaches have a similar resume it is great for the Lamar University Football team. Having D1 or NFL experience doesn't always make a successful coach, but I agree there were some new coaches needed at some positions. coachacola
Whitten also applied for the head coach position at Bryan HS last month. Seems a little odd that he's applying for all these HS coaching jobs if he intends to stick around at Lamar. Guest McneeseKilla
its okay putain i don't expect you to know much about the game either so go ahead and help yourself pack also and see if you can go somewhere else to criticize what you know nothing about. coachacola
Bill Bradley new DC at Lamar? Yesterday we told you that Bill Bradley was interviewing, today we hear he has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Lamar. Bradley was the defensive coordinator at Baylor from 2004-06. After that he served as secondary coach for the Chargers, the Florida Tuskers and most recently with the Hartford Colonials of the UFL. Guest BigRed2010
Bill Bradley was a heck of safety, back in the day. He was all-pro several years. I don't know if he can coach, but he could play football.
coachacola
Here's more info on Bill Bradley: He's worked with Wade Phillips in the NFL: More info: http://www.myfoxhouston.com/dpp/sports/nfl/110107-bill-bradley-would-like-to-join-texans
sleepy
why not? Mcgallion is a legend...the sons, not so much Because you know nothing about coach mcgallion and that is a fact. You don't know how much he knows or what he has done without looking it up or asking someone. So when you are talking out of your head on a public message board my advice to you is to tread lightly! LamarMcDad
I want to clarify one thing about my "Thanks" to Puddintane earlier on this thread. Play calling was predictable much of the time and at times it was inexplicable why the short routes (flats and middle of the field) weren't used. The TE didn't get a single target until the game was way out of reach in Huntsville and the game agsint UCA was a good example of how the short passing game could have worked more often. That's my take and I did spend a lot of time at every game (went to every home & road game in `11). However, I like TW. For the record; he's a great guy and I don't want to "help him pack". ;-)
