I am going to assume that the coaching staff didn't feel like he was ready earlier in the year and were hoping Dummett could lead the team mostly running the ball. Obviously the O-line wasn't up to the task the first few weeks. Hopefully they are coming around and we will continue to see improvement although Lamar still has several top tier FCS opponents to face. EKU defeated UCA yesterday.
