About ten minutes until game time. This game should be another cake walk similar to last weeks exhibition game. It will be good to be able to watch on ESPN+

Midway through the first half and Lamar is up by ten; 19-9.

Lamar started 4 guards and Buster wasn

LU only up by 12 at the half and no bigs have scored. I have a feeling it's going to be a long season.

I was impressed with the overall intensity on defense and they are moving the ball much quicker than last year. Adams is the leading scorer with 10, followed by Harrison with 8. Buster hasn't played much, I suspect since he did not play at all last week that he is recovering from some sort of injury. One disappointment is Lamar hasn't been able to force turnovers yet. On the bright side Lamar only committed six turnovers.

Cards win by 17, 67-50. Adams finishes the game with 15 points to lead all scorers. Harrison had 13 and Buster ended the game with 11 to round out the Card players with double figures. Cards out rebounded Wiley by eleven. Lamar committed twelve turnovers to Wiley's 7.

Went to the game and this team has talent but they need to develop chemistry. A lot of the players have missed practice time. Buster just got back two days ago. Xavier Ball will be out till January with a wrist injury.

Adams is the best combo guard to wear a Lamar jersey since Mike James. CJ Roberts showed outstanding decision making and crafty moves.

 

The lack of height will hurt but the guards should be able to keep us in some games.
