geezer
Wednesday evening versus HBU and in the middle of the second the game is still scoreless although HBU had a threat in the top of the second.
geezer
Top of the fourth and still no score. Lamar makes a pitching change and gets the first three up three down inning of the night.

geezer
HBU scores a run in the top of the 8th as Lamar continues its mid-week practice of multiple pitching changes. New pitcher comes in to start the 8th and gives up a triple and a run scoring single. Lamar uses a total of three pitchers in the inning with HBU leaving the bases loaded as Lamar pitchers walk two batters before getting the third out. 1-0 in favor of HBU going to the bottom of the 8th. geezer
Overall, this was a pitcher's game. HBU managed to get two hits back-to-back that scored their run in the 8th. I know the mid-week games are for development purposes, but it seems like Lamar pitchers are more likely to struggle when they first come in. Any time Lamar changes pitchers it is an opportunity for the opponent to score. Friday will start a critical stretch if Lamar hopes to win the division when they host SFA for the weekend.
