geezer
Men end the first half down by three, 37-34. Cards got out to the early lead at 12-6 before going on a turnover and scoring drought to get behind by as much as thirteen before climbing back. Anderson is playing some today. Lamar has eleven first half turnovers, but SELA not scoring off the turnovers like some opponents have. Lamar also shot well in the first half, shooting 54% including 4-7 from three-point range. geezer
Calmese drives the length of the court with six seconds on the clock to tie the game at 75 with 0.6 seconds left. SELA just fails to get the game winner off, so the game is headed to overtime.
geezer
Cards play their best game since the fifth game of the season when they lost in overtime versus Western Carolina but come up short again in an overtime period. Cardinals fall by five at SELA 89-84. Lamar shot 52% for the game but had too many turnovers. Both Harris and Anderson played a combined twenty minutes today, but their play shows all the time they have missed as they are a little behind defensively and offensively both. The Lamar guards are forcing too much and getting too deep into traps before they give up the ball or just make bad passes that create their turnovers.
