Game one postponed from Thursday to Friday evening. Lamar gets two runs in the top of the 2nd to take the early lead, but give up two runs in the bottom of the inning to end the 2nd all tied up.

Cards get two runs in the fourth and one in the fifth to take a three-run lead, but then give up eight runs in the bottom of the fifth to fall behind by five runs after five runs.

Cards give up three more runs to fall 13-5 in game one. Lamar pitching fails in the bottom of the fifth and the bats go silent for the rest of the game.

Lamar wins game two 9-7. Game three to start about 5:30

Good job LU! Go win game 3 and take the series.

LU just does not have the pitching depth this year.

Lamar built up a two-run lead going to the bottom of the seventh, but as posted above pitching gave up four runs to fall two behind and the bats weren't able to get the runs back. NSU wins the series with a 6-5 win. A fielding error in the seventh didn't help the pitching either.
