geezer Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Look forward to hearing anything that would indicate schemes or overall philosophy. If any of the qbs throw well. Quote
geezer Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 The stats as written in the LU website article look pretty good, but it was also against LU so the quality of play from both lines still leaves questions. At least there were some long pass completions. Quote
lamarfan360 Posted April 29, 2023 Author Posted April 29, 2023 On offense, Lamar ran a basic spread for most of the scrimmage. Quarterbacks operated out of the shotgun, usually with a running back beside them at the time of the snap. https://www.beaumontenterprise.com/sports/lamar/article/lamar-university-hosts-spring-football-game-17926168.php Quote
bigredfan2 Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 I was impressed with the play last night and have looking forward to next fall. There was a good number of fans in the stands looking forward to the season too. I feel like the play and fans that showed up adds to the excitement of a new coach and hopefully some much needed improvement. As you may know, I take photos of Lamar events and though I would share here the spring game photos. You may find yourself in the stands. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=bigredfan2&set=a.247571397788190 Quote
