I agree.  I am VERY disappointed with our coaching.  We are so frigging passive and undisciplined (on both sides of the ball).  It’s like “is anyone actually coaching this team”??!!!???!!!

I too am disappointed with the penalties.  This week I might give the offense a little break as it is possible that the game plan was more conservative since it was Longino's first start.  The o-line has to improve.

Man, y’all sound like you been drinking some of those chemicals being released at Motiva.

We’re winning games (!!) with our backup QB (!!) and still obviously have a long way to go until we play our best football (!!)

Take a chill pill & kick back. I still think 8 wins is in sight. Rossomando will get this group disciplined.

We do need a QB, who wants to buy one?

It's a win.

It's not the way you want to have to win, but a pair of wins where they had to grind it out in the 4th Quarter are still a pair of wins... one in an upset, one staving off an upset.

Now, to head up to Conway.

I think teams are figuring out how to defend against our offense.  Poor pass blocking along with a backup quarterback is making this a one dimensional team.  Throw in the penalties and it's a miracle they are 3-1. They do say great defenses win championships.

Until the o-line improves, especially at pass blocking Lamar is one dimensional and that dimension is named Griffin.

This is not how I thought the TSU game would go. Sigh of relief that we won the game late, but, like most everyone, it does make it worrisome about the remaining games. This makes we want to take back my ceiling prediction. I am hoping that our coaching staff is scheming how to grade offensive production with what we have available in the QB room.

Does McCown have a live arm? Can he move around in the pocket? We don’t need him to run 70 yards for a TD. I would assume if he could he would already be starting. I think our OC is a dual threat QB type of coach.

Meant to say create offensive production

I'm not sure any quarterback can be a successful passer if he is worrying about getting sacked every time he goes to throw the ball.  Bottom line is the o-line has to protect him consistently.  I think the reason so many coaches like or want a dual threat is that the dual threat has a better chance to make something out of a broken play.

TSU might be a little better than we thought. Their on line was big. And their secondary was feisty. The penalties and one dimensional offense is concerning.

If Longino is going to be the QB, coach has to find some pass plays that they both feel comfortable with.

Coleman was dressed out.  Does anyone know how long he will be out?  TSU could crowd the line of scrimmage because they didn't have to respect the pass.  Longino has been here 3 years and he has never come close to winning the job.  One play really got my attention.  We had a wide receiver throw a pass before Longino tried one--we have no passing game, such as it is, with Coleman out.
