One non-conference game this week as Commerce takes on Prairie View.  After this weekend only one conference team will be undefeated as UIW plays SELA.  The remaining games should start to put end of the season standings in order.

In the afternoon games Nicholls defeats McNeese, Lamar wins and Commerce falls at Prairie View.  The Commerce non-conference loss means the SLC is one game below .500 with one game to play against FCS schools.

SFA blows out HCU.  UIW defeats SELA by three points as SELA misses a last second field goal attempt to tie the game.  Self-inflicted mistakes cost SELA.  Lamar hosts SELA next week.
