geezer Posted March 1 Posted March 1 After a great pre-conference run Lamar travels to UTRGV to open conference action. Friday night starts good but ends in disaster. Cards got three runs in the top of the first but then gave up six in the bottom of the inning, six more runs in the bottom of the fifth and one in the sixth to get run limited 13-3. Quote

geezer Posted March 2 Author Posted March 2 Lamar got the lead 2-0 in the fourth inning only to give back one in the bottom of the inning and then gave up four more runs a couple of innings later to fall again 5-2 and get swept on the opening weekend. The rest of the spring may be trying to get back to the top. Quote
