From what I know, Winslow would be the biggest loss, followed by Simpson. If in fact they leave. Hope they don’t.

The biggest thing I noticed was Winslow and Simpson have reps. Nothing more scum sucking and bottom feeding than agents, whether repping a 9 figure pro athlete or a small school FCS player. This has to be a nightmare for FCS coaches, hell college coaches in general.

I guess we can expect most of our all conference players to jump in and shop for a payday.

I think most of them were seniors??

i think theres gonna be more.

ok....

some of these are repeats

Winslow, christian, omodia, abraham, curtis, adekoya, Simpson, turner, bradshaw

i try not to rag on a kid personally, but i aint seen winslow make a block in 2 years...curtis was brooks OL backup.  a couple of these are freshmen that never played, a couple starters....

im waiting for the offensive guys who wanna do more than watch handoffs  to start rolling in

my sources...ha,🙄always wanted to say that....say its gonna get busy

When I was watching the end of the SFA game on TV, and the after game interview with Carthel, he made the comment that a lot the players off of their 2024 team turned down paydays to stay for a chance to win the conference.  I guess it turned out well for Carthel and the Jacks, and, I guess I hope it turns out well for the players who stayed!  Looks like we will not have that kind of luck. We can fully expect that after every good year by one of the LU players, they will be moving on.

Not exactly the same, but LU is somewhat like the line that Brad Pitt said in Moneyball, that the Oakland A's were just a farm team for the Yankees and Red Sox!

The difference between the A's at the time and Lamar is that the A's were winning the west.  Lamar has to win the conference to improve all of the players stock.  I hope Lamar is able to go find / get the FBS players out of the portal that want to play and fill the holes where an improvement in quality and experience will really raise the teams performance..

- Lamar University Football announced the signing of 6'6" offensive lineman Anfernee "AJ" Crease, a veteran transfer from Texas State University via the post's graphic and welcome message.
- Crease, who previously played at Kentucky and junior college, brings experienced anchor strength to the Cardinals' line after entering the transfer portal post-2025 season.

Glad to see an emphasis on offensive linemen so far.

Trying to leverage a payday!  As fans, we want them to be loyal to LU, but if you are their family, you want them to maximize their earning potential now.  It is the crazy world of NIL that we live in these days.

Id like to see em get their degrees.
